Jump (For My Love)

I took this video last weekend when I told Preston we should go on a walk together because it was JUST SO PRETTY. Which was partially true. It was JUST SO PRETTY. But also, when both of us walk the dogs, it makes it a LOT easier for me to take pictures of flowers. As soon as I got outside and whipped my camera out, he knew that he was in for more than he bargained for (read: lots of waiting while I took pictures of daffodils).

This video pretty accurately captures what walking the dogs has been like lately. Ness is totally the girl with a curl. When she is good, she is very, very good, and when she is bad, the whole world shakes from my anger. Overall, she is doing much better with the jumping! during! the walks! But as the video testifies, we're not there yet. ALSO supremely annoying: please note that both Callie's and Ness' new found obsession with fresh spring grass, a delicacy more succulent even than used tissues from the trashcan (Ness, I AM LOOKING AT YOU).

Edit/Disclaimer: So I uploaded this video earlier in the week and hadn't actually watched it until just now, and, um, YEAH. Pretty boring. So consider yourself warned: this is forty-eight seconds of your life you will never get back.

  1. I think my favorite part of the video is:
"Cali you're going to vomit that up in the bedroom."

I love that I have said similar sentences to my dog, who isn't much for throw up, but who DOES have a supremely sensitive stomach. They are usually along the lines of:
"Nalu you know that will make you have diarrhea."

Seriously?! Do you think they understand a damn thing we are saying?! Do you think they CARE if they will throw it up or crap it out?

    My guess: Highly unlikely.
