A First Photo

There will certainly be a deluge of wedding posts to follow, but as I have to unpack SO MUCH STUFF at the moment, I'm afraid they will have to wait. However, I did want to include this first photo, because it's one of my favorites from the weekend. My friend Margaret took it, and I love it. I love that Preston looks so calm, patient, and focused (as he holds up my forever long veil), and that I look so keyed up and nervous and LET'S GET IT DONE RIGHT NOW PERFECTLY OR ELSE I MIGHT STEP ON SOMEONE WITH MY GIANT HEELS. It basically sums us up as a couple: Preston breathes, while I freak out. He's pretty excited that he's stuck with me forever.

    I am so happy for you both! All morning on Saturday, I kept saying to Massey, "Mary Frances and Preston--you know, "Erat Hora"?--they're getting MARRIED today!"

    Thanks for the first picture--I hope it's the first of many. I love it! Your dress looks so beautiful and timeless...And what great shoes (trivial, I know--but I like them.

    August, you say? Well, we'll definitely have to make something happen!

    Good luck unpacking--I'm up to my ears in boxes right now trying to pack--bleh.
