Often this obsessive compulsive desire to micromanage my schedule manifests itself during the busiest times of the year [read: now], when I find that I really DO need to be looking at a calendar on a daily basis or else I will undoubtedly forget something. So naturally this morning, in an effort to avoid my Latin presentation at all costs, I opened up iCal. It popped up cheerfully and then turned sour as it delivered some VERY BLACK NEWS: it told me that my last day of classes was NOT December 9th as I had so thought, but December 11th...which means that instead of ONE Greek class, I have TWO Greek classes left. I thought that my classes would end on Tuesday the 9th and I would have the rest of the week to finish my Latin paper, which is due Monday the 15th...but now, I know I'll have Greek homework due the 11th, which means that I will NOT have the whole week to finish my Latin paper...which basically just means I need to work my tail off this weekend...which I guess I should have been anyway, but I was seriously counting on Saturday as a day off from work. So, to sum it up: SIGH.
On the upside, though, I have now been terrified into actually looking at and consolidating my calendars. Since I'm pretty sure I haven't opened my day planner since October and since iCal's format kind of annoys me, Google Calendar, you are now my new MASTER CALENDAR/BFF. Let's hope that our relationship is a lasting one.
