Holy Wow. It hasn't really hit me yet, as my brain is still about 50% fried egg and my body...holy god...my body. It has held up remarkably well, but all of the sugar, caffeine (ugh...so much caffeine), and processed foods I've put into it lately, coupled with the total lack of exercise for almost a month...it does not love me right now. At any rate, I turned in my final paper last night, immediately went to bed, and then woke up at 5:30, because my body has apparently forgotten what sleep is.
Luckily, Preston and I are headed to a B&B in Northern Virginia this afternoon to celebrate our anniversary (we stayed there after our wedding last year), and if my memory serves me correctly, their bedding is RIDICULOUSLY comfortable. Which is good, since, considering that I stayed up all night last night writing and Preston stayed up all night grading (together we will create a procrastinating MONSTER), I'm pretty sure we will be spending 80% of the weekend unconscious. Because we are ROMANTIC.
P.S. I just have to say it one more time: I AM DONE! DONE! DONE! Taking deep breaths of wonderful, pure, graduate school-less air. Delicious.
