If I absolutely
have to translate 500 lines of Greek today and take a German exam tomorrow, then I might as well do it while wearing a cute blue vest and a striped shirt, right? And firetruck red ballet flats make every day better.
Also, OH MY GOODNESS Mary Frances. Iron that skirt.
P.S. Although this is what I planned on wearing today, this is not - alas - what I'm wearing today. These photos were taken last night after my
Target disaster trip. Today it is gray, rainy, and humid in Pennsylvania -
not a day for ballet flats and new clothes from Target. I could take gray and rainy but seriously, world, WHY is it still humid? It's almost October, and it is surprisingly difficult to dress for both "torrential downpour" and "stickily humid." Also, my hair has been enormous since, I don't know, May, and it needs a break. Come on now.
Channeling Coco Chanel with that shirt? (From the earlier, less depressing and squalid film.)
ReplyDeleteI agree about the rain!! Rain in the fall should NOT be humid. Also, I have a Target problem too :)
ReplyDeleteUh, I went to Target this week, and similarly came home with detritus. So no shame:) Plus, it shouldn't get MORE HUMID throughout the day (as it did yesterday). Ugh.
ReplyDeleteWHERE did those flats come from? I want them. SO MUCH.
ReplyDeleteThey're also (of course) from Target! But I got them 3 years ago.
