And yes, I have had this outfit picked out for weeks. The shirt and the skirt were birthday presents from my awesome grandmother-in-law (who, at 85, is much more chic than I can ever hope to be). The shoes are $10 oldies but goodies from Payless, and the earrings are ones that my friend Eleanor brought me from Italy. I have also, at long last, retired my beloved bright red back-pack in favor of a slightly more adult brown leather messenger-ish bag (that I've actually had for ages). Since I did, however, hear some loud whispers to the tune of "she's so tiny" while I was handing out textbooks, I will DEFINITELY be wearing heels for parents' night. Just to ensure them that I am not, in fact, a fourteen year-old. Ahem.
Anyways, I'm not going to write anything else about The Job, but just know that I am already both excited and nervous about it, and that at the end of my first day, I had a smile on my face. Oh, and this:
