Lovely readers,
As I mentioned last week, I have decided to switch back to keeping a public blog (which WILL publish feeds that are available through a reader, so Google Reader users, rejoice!). Mary Frances Writes as it stands on Blogger will remain password protected, but since you all have permission, you will always be able to access my archives. I'm sure this is a top priority for all of us. ANYWAYS.
After waffling back and forth between several different sites and platforms, I've decided to stick with the title Mary Frances Writes, but move it to WordPress, where I have the ability to make certain posts password protected. I've included the password (or what it will mostly likely be) in an email that SHOULD have reached all of you - if you don't receive it, let me know.
On the WordPress blog, although I will refer to myself as Mary Frances, Preston has become "Mister," Callie has become "Clio," and Ness has become "Newcastle." Once she arrives, Fake Baby/Baby Girl B/Little Miss/I don't know what to call her now will also receive a pseudonym. I will post pictures, and have included a link to my (now mostly public again) Flickr stream. These precautions certainly aren't iron-clad (if someone REALLY wanted to find out what Preston's name was, it would be fairly easy), but I feel much safer knowing that I can protect certain posts with a password.
Although I am perfectly happy for you to link to me from your blog, I will ask that you not use our real names (other than mine) in comments. In particular, please do not use our last name (if you know it). I would like, if at all possible, to prevent our students from happening upon this blog.
I'm still having a couple of technical issues, but the site is mostly up and running, so here is the link: http://www.maryfranceswrites.wordpress.com
Thanks for reading!
Mary Frances

Okay, it may take me time, but I've already popped over and I fully plan to read each and every post to get caught up! ;)
