The Good and The Bad

The Good News: I have FINALLY organized three years worth of pictures and transferred all of them to two external hard drives. Since they're properly backed-up, I have now started deleting photo files from my computer, thus making room for new ones, such as the THREE HUNDRED I took from mid December to yesterday. In my defense, though, a hefty chunk of those were taken by people who stole my camera to take photos of Mary's (admittedly adorable) dog Clementine. But still. Three hundred is a little excessive. Regardless, though, they are now ON my computer and ready to be uploaded!

The Bad News: Instead of uploading photos before we jump ship for a long weekend at Wintergreen, I have to spend my morning taking the Latin sight exam that I have to pass in order to get my MA next spring (this means that even if I don't pass it today, I still have four more tries...and I have a sneaky feeling that I'm not going to pass it today, having read minimal Latin since early December). Blurg. Hopefully I'll be back in time to make a dent in the uploading before we leave tonight. Happy Friday!
