Recent Favorite

I don't claim to be an expert on global warming. I don't claim to be an expert on fossil fuels or the coal industry. I do know, however, that there are absolutely safer, more efficient energy sources than coal, and that I want my children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren to grow up in a healthy (and carbon-efficient...) environment.

ANYWAYS, I don't want to get all political here, but Preston found this video last week, and I just felt like you all should know what video I am watching on a daily basis. We're at that point in our relationship, aren't we, internet? This parody (a commentary on the coal industry) is spot on, from the music to the acting to the camera work. The first time Preston showed it to me, I watched it three times and by the third time, was laughing so hard I started crying. Favorite moments are at 0:24, 0:47, 1:00, and especially 1:04-07. Also, at the end of the video, take note of 1) how the spinning earth changes, and 2) what the screen shows v. what the voiceover says.
