Alternative Activities

Today I am packing for Virginia. That is, if packing for Virginia means spending all morning reading Slice of Pink and eating three bowls of yogurt, showering and getting dressed, meeting a friend for lunch, crossing my fingers and toes that Preston's baseball try-outs go well (do you hyphenate try-out? I almost called it an audition...for which Preston would undoubtedly sigh and shake his head at me), going to Kinko's to print out 5x7 pictures that our new fancy printer refuses to print, framing those pictures and consequently rearranging all the framed pictures in our apartment, putting the massive pile of clothes on the floor back in the closet/drawers, thinking about doing some laundry and then probably not actually doing it till tomorrow morning, calling my best friend, emailing a few people, eating lots of cheese because HELLO we're leaving and I don't want it to go bad, and Swiffering the kitchen floor.
