Wild Friday Night

Sorry for not posting till now, but it's been a long day. Preston and I spent all morning at the Norristown DMV (a special corner of hell) trying to get me a new license (there is a post about this waiting in the wings, so stay tuned). And Hooray I am now officially a resident of Pennsylvania. Except that my new license has a big red TEMPORARY scrawled across the front of it. So that doesn't make me feel like an illegal alien at all.

This afternoon I've been receiving and returning phone calls, framing pictures, pretending to pack, telling my Mom not to cry when I told her we would spend our one night in Richmond this weekend with Preston's family instead of my family, writing thank you notes, folding clothes, updating my new planner, and filing papers. Fun AND exciting.

And now I'm going to get something to drink, stay on the computer for 15 more minutes, kiss my husband, pet my dog, read 2.5 pages in my book, and pass out LIKE A LIGHT in my comfortable bed. WILD, right?
