Quickie

So I survived my first big kid graduate school event, and I'm currently sitting at our apartment with Preston, Penelope (who's starting this year at Bryn Mawr for a PhD in History of Art) and another Classics Grad Student, and I am feeling really, really happy. Everyone is talking. Laughing. Drinking. We had a nice little reception at the College (where wine provided a delightful social lubricant) and five of us newbies went out for a drink (or three) afterwards. And I really feel like this is going to be great. I'm excited about the people (6 of us!) in my program, I'm excited about being in school, and I'm excited about working at Bryn Mawr. I don't know how much I'm going to write about my graduate school experience on this blog, but I'll keep you updated for the near future, at least. Since it's ALL I'm thinking about. Happy Wednesday!
