MF: I still need miso paste, but I think I might have to go to Whole Foods to find that.
Preston: What's the miso paste for?
MF: It's for the cod.
PAUSE
Preston: And what is miso paste?
MF: Well, it's an Asian (edit: I've since looked it up, and it is Japanese, which I should have known) ingredient that I think people often use in...
Preston, scoffing (with love): OK, well I knew it was Asian. I watch enough Top Chef to know that, at least.

MF: I also wanted to get soy milk, but they were out.
Preston: Well we still have some in the fridge at home.
MF: Yea, I know, and that will last me a few days, but I drink a lot of soy milk.
[PAUSE. Please take this moment to savor the thrill of our scintillating conversations...UNPAUSE]
MF: I've actually started measuring out a cup in the morning, so I know how much I'm drinking with my coffee. I have a feeling that before I started measuring it out in the mornings, I was drinking a lot more than a cup a day.
PAUSE FOR EFFECT
Preston: Ah yes. Soy milk. The silent killer.
MF (laughing): Oh, shut up (with love).
