Lovely

If any of you want a fast beach-y read that will hold your attention, I highly recommend The Lovely Bones. I stayed up till 2:30 this morning reading it, and it was completely worth it. It's lyrical and terrifying all at the same time, and ended up being really beautifully written and thoroughly absorbing.

Preston and I are going to walk back into town in a bit to meet Kelly for tea before we catch a taxi to our next B&B. I made the stupid mistake of wearing semi-comfortable shoes yesterday and now my super comfortable shoes are rubbing against the blisters from my semi-comfortable shoes. What a rookie mistake. I don't know how much walking we'll be doing at our next stop, though. It's above a pub, so I plan on doing little else besides reading, writing, and drinking cups of tea and pints of beer. So after a few days there, I might REALLY never leave. Except for that whole job of Preston's (which he loves), fellowship of mine (for which I am super excited), and lovely Callie (who is the best dog in the WORLD).
