New Chairs!

After moving into our apartment nine months ago, Preston and I finally found dining room chairs! They're antique chairs from the 20's that were refinished by a lovely old man who lives, um, somewhere near-ish us. Preston found him on Craig's List. He sold us the set of four for $100, and we have been thrilled. This does, however, mean we have no more excuses for being bums and eating off of the coffee table in the den in front of the TV. And as we are now officially old and married, I would like us to start sitting down more to break bread together and talk about our days. Though I have no illusions that meals in front of the TV will stop permanently anytime soon. SIGH. Until, that is, we are rich (because Latin teachers make sooo much money) and I can buy an entertainment center with a cabinet that SHUTS OFF the TV from the rest of the room, so that our den won't always have to revolve around the TV. I say this days before our Wii is supposed to arrive. I think I'm fighting a losing battle.
