OOPS

Preston and I have a lot of leftover wedding alcohol, so I've been doing my part to get rid of it. Namely, drinking a lot of vodka. Normally I'm a beer and wine person. I do love a dirty martini when I'm out with my friend Liz, and the occasional champagne cocktail, but neither Preston nor I drink a ton of liquor. So when I say "I'm drinking a lot of vodka," I mean "I'm drinking 100% more vodka than I normally do (which is slim to none)."

Yes I know. My life is full of many woes, like having too much vodka, and trying to decide what dessert to put on my three tiered cake plate. I am officially a snob. ANYWAYS, back to the vodka. And how I don't drink it that often. So I just made a cocktail with cranberry-raspberry juice, a bit of Diet Tonic, and apparently a lot of vodka, because I took about three sips, and I think I might be drunk. Just kidding. Sort of. Not drunk, just tipsy. But the cocktail really is very tasty. I put it in a cocktail shaker and strained it into a martini glass (mainly because I just wanted to feel like I was drinking something more exciting and less fratastic than a cranberry and vodka, but also because I wanted to use our new martini glasses). And I am thoroughly enjoying it.
