I Can Die A Happy Lady

All is right with the world. There is a NEW Gossip Girl on tonight. This must be God's way of saying, "Dear Mary Frances, I'm so so so sorry that I'm making you live with mice in your walls. I think you deserve a break. Please, enjoy a full hour of gorgeous New York teenagers (actually twenty-somethings playing sixteen-year olds, but whatever. I'll totally suspend my disbelief for GG) with disposable incomes, beautiful designer clothing, and apparently no homework ever."

Why thank you, God. I believe I shall. Although I do completely believe that the show is fantastically delicious on its own, my REAL favorite part is that during the hour, my best friend from college, Margaret (read about her here), and I comment to each other at lightning speed on facebook about the progression of the show. It's basically like instant-messaging over facebook. About a TV show whose target audience is probably 10 years younger than I am. I'm sure all of our Classics professors would be immensely proud to see how far we've come in the year we've been out of UVA.

PURE MAGIC. That's all I have to say about tonight. My expectations are high, GG. Don't fail me now.
