I appreciate that the Ancient Greeks did many, many, many fabulous things for us (hello, philosophy! and architecture! and drama!). And that there are many, many, many stunning works of Greek literature in the world (hello, Callimachus! And Homeric Hymns!). However, at this moment, as I sit in the library, with two sentences written for my Greek Comedy paper that is due TOMORROW, if I could go back in time and erase the Greek language from ever existing, just so that I didn't have to write this paper, I totally would. In the words of Liz Lemon, "BLURG."
