HOO RAH RAY!
Now that she has blogged about it, I can say what I've been itching to say for weeks FOR THE WORLD TO HEAR (or the internet, whatevs). It is official: the life partner is moving two hours closer to me! That means that, even though it's Monday, even though I still have Symmachus to translate and a Greek paper to write, even though I drank soapy coffee this morning (highly unrecommended, btw), even though Callie peed on Ness' head this morning (which I found out via text from Preston...thrilling conversations we have, yes indeed), even though it's looking like I'm going to be chained to the library for the next two months...in spite of all those things, it is a great day, because Liz is moving to D.C.! And she will say it's for a "new job," but between you and me, internet, I think it's safe to say that she's moving to be closer to Pennsylvania. Obviously.

ReplyDeleteI love you and cannot wait to be closer to you. I am slowly creeping up your way. Don't be surprised if you find me squatting in your closet and/or pantry 1 year from now. Just slip some crackers under the door every once in a while. Better yet, slip me dirty martinis and olives.
