The weighty combination of Grad School and The Puppy has chewed me up, spit me out, kicked my ass, and taken all of my energy for the next few decades and then some. Seriously. In my free time, I shower. And even then, not always.
I KNOW I've been a sucky blogger. Believe you me. I know. And I would much rather be here in the magical land of internet with you than telling Ness NO do not eat that tissue or that rock or your ear or my Uggs or MY FACE or sitting in my library carrel for eight hours at a time flipping back and forth and back and forth between commentaries/dictionaries/scholarly articles...but alas, I've made my bed and now I have to lie in it. Except WAIT I can't even lie in it because OOPS I don't have time to sleep.
But I do have tales. And photos. And recipes. And love. And, perhaps most importantly, a FALL BREAK for an ENTIRE WEEK. That starts on THURSDAY. Which means my post on Thursday will be written ONLY IN CAPITAL LETTERS BECAUSE I WILL JUST BE THAT EXCITED.
For all intents and purposes (side note: until, um, this summer, I thought this phrase was: "for all intensive purposes." Clearly I should not be in Grad School), or really, for YOUR intents and purposes, this means that I will have time to blog! And tell my tales and post my pictures and be in the magical land of internet WITH YOU! So, lovely readers, if you can just bear with my until Friday, I promise I will reemerge from the black hole of grad school to be a real live blogger again! Posting might be light between now and then, but I promise to make it up to you next week. For serious, y'all.
