Weekend Update, Part II

One of many attempts to get a photo with the pups.

Since Preston went to the Dodger's-Phillies game on Friday night (a sad day for the lone Dodger's fan in all of Philadelphia) and then had baseball on Saturday AND Sunday, I had a lot of QT with the pups this weekend. A LOT. As in, by Saturday afternoon, I was starting to feel like an old lady holed up in her apartment with her dogs. So Penelope came and rescued me by driving the pups and me to Valley Forge, where at least I was still a dog lady, but at least I was a dog lady enjoying a gorgeously warm fall day in a beautiful national park accompanied by a friend!

So happy to be en plein air.

For those of you who live in the Philly area and haven't yet been out to Valley Forge, you must go immediately. I will drive you. It's just too beautiful to miss.

I breathe easier when I drive out here. I love it.

The fields just keep going.

Close up.

This is what most of the photo shoot looked like: me trying (unsuccessfully) to wrangle the dogs into posing for a picture.

Eventually we gave up, as the dogs clearly have more important things to do than indulge my photo fantasies. Like sniff where other dogs have peed. Very important.

If only you hadn't destroyed my laptop power cord yesterday, you would so be the cutest dog in the world.

  1. Your comment about not wearing makeup nearly caused me to pee my pants :)

I finally got around to catching up on my blog-reading... Ness is getting so big already!

P.S. I want to go frolic in those fields...
