Sad Face

This evening I was standing in line at Wawa when the woman in front of me took one look at what I was carrying (a large coffee and two sugar-free Red Bulls), and said with a laugh, "Wow. It looks like you're going to be up all night!" To which I said somberly, "Yes. Unfortunately I am. I have a paper to write that I haven't started." And then she just looked sorry for me.

SIGH. It's going to be a long night. There are few situations that provoke my anxiety like that of writing a paper. Even if I'm working on it far, far, far in advance (which is one thousand percent NOT the case tonight--this paper is due tomorrow at four), papers stress me out in a way that nothing else does. Which leads me to this dilemma: if I don't enjoy writing papers, then I really have no business being in graduate school...right? SIGH. (AGAIN.) Well, no time for Huge, Enormous, Life-Altering Questions tonight. Oh no. There is only time for Caesar. So with that...123 GO!
