Sorry, Kids

I would hazard a guess that somewhere near Milwaukee, some high school English class is in the middle of a unit on Modernism. I would hazard a further guess that their teacher set them an assignment on Ezra Pound's "Erat Hora." I hazard these guesses because I just signed into my Stat Counter, and Holy Mother of Pearl, there were A LOT of people in the Milwaukee area who found this blog today/tonight by searching for "erat hora," or "erat hora analysis," or "meaning of erat hora," or "summary of erat hora."

To whom I say SORRY, KIDS. This site is less into the poetic analysis and more into the talking about my dogs. And how I like Target. And am bad at graduate school. But good luck on your homework!

Also, on a completely unrelated note, everyone should definitely be watching Make Me A Supermodel at 10/9 on Bravo because my best friend Margaret's friend Colin is on it, and y'all. He is SO CUTE. And also awkward. But mostly SO CUTE. And simply because Margaret knows him, and because he's from Charlottesville (where I went to college), I feel an inexplicably deep desire for him to WIN that kind of makes me feel like a stalker. And now YOU ALL can watch this quality hour of television and say, "I want Colin to win because he's Mary Frances' best friend Margaret's friend from Charlottesville." SEE?! JUST LOOK how the magic spreads!
