I'm in a giving mood/I have Greek that I'm avoiding, and I have decided to post pictures from our wedding on the blog...here's a first one...just to taunt you (though if we're facebook friends, you've probably seen all of these).
This photo was taken illegally by one of Preston's friends during the ceremony (the church doesn't allow photography during the ceremony), and this is one illegality that I fully support (other than my meth addiction, obviously). I am so so so glad to have this picture. I've written before that although there were things I didn't love at our wedding, I did love our ceremony, and was so so happy during it. Not that I remember that much of it (we took vows? what?). But I seem to remember being sublimely happy (this could be because I was severely sleep-deprived and possibly delusional...but let's say it was because I was marrying Preston! And it was magical!).
In all seriousness, though, those thirty(ish) minutes during our wedding included some of the most beautiful moments I've ever experienced. And I don't really know if I believe in God, but on the days that I do, it's because of moments like those.
it means that this is the ONLY picture we have from during the ceremony! the church doesn't allow any photography or videography during the ceremony. so that's why this picture is illegal (and why i love it so much)!
