This miraculous change in homework means that I have TIME to go to the store and buy a dog training book (and yes I know that the new puppy arrives on Saturday and that Preston and I should have been poring over a dog training book for months, but I think we've already established that I'm Mary Frances and therefore do nothing in advance. Ever.) and do errands and go running and have a glass of wine and SLEEP and see Callie and not be a zombie tomorrow. HOORAY! Hugs all around!

Today's Awesomeness Factor Just Went Up. A Lot.
Just as I was hunkering down to translate my 450 lines of Aristophanes for Greek class tomorrow that I of course did not start till this morning because hello I'm Mary Frances, my Greek professor emailed and cut our assignment more than IN HALF. That means that instead of 450 lines I only have 200 lines to do. And I am just SO SO SO excited that I would very much like to stand up on my library carrel desk and shout to the world that I LOVE TODAY. And maybe sing "I Feel Pretty." But I feel like other people wouldn't appreciate that.

YAY FOR HUGS!
ReplyDeleteI remember loving it when professors would have pity on us and lighten the load. Personally, I think "I feel pretty" was totally in order. I'm kinda sad you didn't grace the library audience with it.
P.S. If I don't "talk" to you before this weekend, good luck on your race!
