Dear This Week, Please End Now.

For serious. I know I've been an absentee blogger lately, but this week has seriously put me through the shitter (beginning on Sunday, when my bank informed me that my identity had been stolen and that I had NEGATIVE AMOUNTS OF MONEY in my accounts! For future reference, identity thieves, of all the people in the world to rob, I am like the worst person to rob. Not only do I have a Target addiction problem, but also my income consists of a graduate student stipend. Meaning that, even before you spent all my money, it was a wee baby account with wee baby amounts of money in it. You could have done way better. Just saying.). And thanks to my it's the weekend and I'm not going to do ANY WORK AT ALL attitude (that was last weekend), I have spent many many many hours in the library frantically translating my Latin and Greek that I should have done, oh, I don't know...OVER THE WEEKEND.

And right now, instead of being planted in front of the TV watching not one, but TWO designers get eliminated from Project Runway, I am in my carrel in the library. Translating Aristophanes. I'm pretty sure part of my soul just died. Le sigh.

On another, completely unrelated note, half-marathon training is going well! Penelope and I ran 6 miles tonight (my butt and brain were both sore from sitting at my desk for the wholllllllllllllleeeeeeeee day and it felt SO GOOD to get moving) and I didn't feel like I was going to die! Huzzah!

But that doesn't change my request to God/Santa/the internet/you, lovely reader: If this week could end asap that would be suuuuuuuper.

Kisses,

Mary Frances

P.S. Preston just taunted AHEM, I mean texted, me with a Project Runway update, and I've decided I'm leaving the library at 10:50 to go watch the rerun of tonight's episode at 11. What can I say? I'm a sucker for Tim and Heidi. AND double elimination night! It's just too much.
